HELIOS WebShare serves as the foundational server infrastructure that securely makes designated file server data accessible to Document Hub users. Intranet users can access data through native file server volumes, remote users leverage web browsers for access, and Document Hub provides native application integration.

Remote access to server files via mobile devices is streamlined, requiring only login authorization. Permissions can be customized based on user identity, group memberships, and file system security settings. All app configurations and defaults are centrally managed on the server, ensuring consistent security and usability for all users.

The Document Hub interacts seamlessly with other applications, facilitating document opening, sharing, and receipt within the ecosystem. It supports displaying document pages and images, printing through AirPrint, forwarding via email, and exporting to compatible applications like Numbers or Keynote.

Automatic file synchronization ensures that users have access to the latest versions of files for offline work. The transfer process is optimized through techniques such as parallel processing, compression, streaming, and resumability, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
